"Our partner ecosystem is increasingly a reason to be a Rippling customer," said Matt MacInnis, COO at Rippling. "Our customers use a lot of business systems to run their companies, and Brad is here to get every one of those integrated with Rippling. It's a three-way win for Rippling, our partners, and most importantly our customers. There's nobody in Silicon Valley better qualified to lead this effort."

“Great platforms in enterprise software are rare. I’ve had the privilege to build ecosystems around two of the greatest: Salesforce and Slack. I believe Rippling has the potential to be the next indispensable platform for customers, developers and partners alike. So I’m incredibly excited to embark on this new journey, building partnerships that will be foundational for Rippling, for the industry at large, and, ultimately for our customers,” said Brad Armstrong, SVP of Business and Corporate Development at Rippling.

Our partner ecosystem is increasingly a reason to be a Rippling customer. Our customers use a lot of business systems to run their companies, and Brad is here to get every one of those integrated with Rippling.

Brad joins us from Slack, where he spent six years building and leading Slack’s global business and corporate development functions, including partnerships, alliances, the Slack Fund, and M&A. Under Brad’s leadership, Slack, entered into strategic partnerships with Salesforce, AWS, Google, Atlassian, Workday and ServiceNow, among many others, invested over $90M in early stage companies via Slack Fund, and acquired seven companies.

Prior to Slack, he was a VP at Salesforce, leading strategic business development. Several of the partnerships he forged later became acquisitions for Salesforce, including Mulesoft, Vlocity and Steelbrick. He was a founding member of the Salesforce AppExchange partner program, and held a range of leadership roles during his eight-year tenure at Salesforce.

We’re pleased to welcome Brad and we look forward to deepening our partnerships, expanding our App Shop, and continuing to provide a great experience for our customers.
